Paris plans rival to Eiffel tower
Paris’s “mini-Manhattan” is planning a building to rival its beloved Eiffel tower. The Phare tower will be the centrepiece of an ambitious overhaul of its business district.

Afghan museum returns
The Afghanistan Museum in Exile is returning home after seven years in Switzerland. Its collection will be sent back to Kabul as Unesco has deemed it safe enough. The museum left after the destruction of the Bamiyan Buddhas and many other cultural artifacts.
